Starting November 1st, the Jackoleggs Book Tour will begin in Newcastle NSW. Featuring an audio reading of the story "Jackoleggs The Giant Boy with Very Long Legs" and appearances by the characters. You can meet Sharko and the Oceanscrusoe crew and learn about our mission to save Australia's oceans and waterways too. The book tour is set to travel up and down the east coast in two legs, the first setting off from Newcastle NSW and heading up to Noosa QLD, with the second leg starting in January going from Marroochydore QLD and heading inland towards Inverell NSW. OceanCrusoe's first ever Bouncy Ball Day begins this October 20th, where kids, families, and schools alike can get involved with the cause and join in the fun in preparation for the official Bouncy Ball Day on Jan 1st. Sign up for the event with a $2.50 donation on the Bouncy Ball Day page and receive a free copy of the Bouncy Ball song and information pack on getting active and making a difference in your community. Bouncy Ball Day not only promotes a fun activity, but encourages kids to help save our oceans, beaches and the waterways of Australia, with all donations from this event going directly to ORCCA Australia to support their efforts in marine mammal rescue.
